Tutorial How to Place Image inside the Text

this will show you how to place an image inside the text.

1. Open the Photoshop and  the image that you want to put inside your container or text.
2. Duplicate your Background layer

• CTRL + J to duplicate.

3. Create layer between the two image this will be the background of the text image.

• click the background layer and go to Layer>New Layer or Simply CTRL + SHIFT + N dont change the layer name and click ok.
• another way to create layer.

• After creating layer.

4. Fill the color of the layer 2.

•  to fill the color select the layer 2 go to Edit>Fill or Simply SHIFT + F5 

under use click the color and fill it with the color that you want and click ok.

• this would be the image after filling the layer 2 with the color sky blue.

5. Adding Text

• your layer must set to layer 1 click the layer 1 in order to see the text.

• to add text  click "T" or simply refer to the image below.

• choose a fonts style and Size of the text
• After Clicking the Type Tool you can see this refer to the image below.
• choose Font Style and the size of text

• Click to the work space and write the text that you want.

• you can use the free transform to resize to the bigger one or to rotate the text,just check the show transform Controls.

• after resizing  using free transform.

6. Drag the layer 1 to the top of the layer.

• to drag to the top just select the layer 1 and hold and put it into the top.

• after putting the layer 1 into the tap, as you can see the  the text is disappeared because the tap of the layer is currently in layer 1.

7. Create Clipping Mask(the selected layer must be  layer 1)

• to create clipping mask go to>Layer>Create Clipping Mask or simply CTRL + ALT + G
• after applying clipping mask this would be the result.

8. Adding drop shadow to the text this would add shadow to the text and it make your image nice.

• Select the Text right click>blending option>click the drop shadow
• set the opacity to 100  and the distance to 26.. or you can adjust the shadow depends that  fit to you.

9. This is the Final Result

to save the image as .png go to file>save as>under format choose .png and click save.

Tutorial How to Create Puzzle Effect

In this tutorial I used CS6 portable, and some other Photoshop has no Puzzle Texture you can go to this link and download puzzle texture http://phildo1965.deviantart.com/art/Puzzle-Texture-125851636 after you download this file copy and paste it into this folder Computer>Local Disk>Program files>Adobe Folder>Photoshop folder>Presets>Textures.

Tutorial How to Create Puzzle Effect

    1. Open your image from the Photoshop that you want to make a puzzle effect”

·         File>Open> or Simply “CTRL + O”

   2. Duplicate the image or the Background Layer.

·         Click the Image>Layer>Duplicate Layer or Simply “CTRL + J”

·         Refer to the image below.

 3. Create new layer and place it between the 2 image and then fill the layer with color black or any color that you want.

·         Layer>New>layer or Simply “CTRL + SHIFT + N”

·         Edit>fill or Simply “Shift + F5”

·         Refer to the image number 3 after adding Fill.

            4. Adding Texturizer, Click the first image or the layer 1.

·         Filter>Texture>Texturizer.

            5. Load The “Puzzle” Texture. After adding a texturizer it will prompt another dialog refer to the image 1

·         Click the Load texture refer to the image 2

·         After Clicking Load Texture it will prompt a Dialog Box and look for the puzzle under the folder Textures,

·         You can adjust the Scaling & relief depends on what you want in my case I use 64 for Scaling and 3 for relief and this would be the result image 3.

            6. Tracing and Removing the piece of puzzle

·         Click the Pen Tool or Simply Click “P”

·         Trace the piece of puzzle using the Pen tool refer to the image 1

·         Convert it into a selection

                                                               i.      “CTRL + Enter” refer to image 2

·         Cut the Selection into its layer this will add another layer refer to image 3

                                                               i.      Layer>New>Layer Via Cut or simply “CTRL + Shift + J”

            7.   Move and Rotate the Puzzle Piece with Free Transform.

·         Ctrl + T to make a free transform and you can move and rotate the piece of puzzle (to rotate place the mouse cursor to the side of the puzzle until the mouse cursor become rotate cursor) refer to the image below.

          8.  Adding a Drop Shadow to the layer 3 or the piece of the puzzle that I cut before.

·         Click the fx icon below the layer refer to image 1.

·         Under fx click the drop shadow and it will prompt another Dialog Box refer to image 2 and you can adjust the shadow anything you want and this would be the result refer to  image 3.

         9.  Repeat the Step 6 to 8 it depends on how many piece of puzzle you want to create take note that if you create piece of puzzle your layers must set into a layer 1, this is my image after repeating the Step 6 to 8.

          10. Adding Drop Shadow to Layer 1 proceed to step 8 on how to add drop shadow. As you notice nothing happened because the background color for the layer 2 is set to black.

            11.  Final Step Change the Background colour of Layer 2.

·         Click the layer 2

·         Click the color picker above the layer, refer to the image 1 and it will prompt another dialog and choose the color that you want.

·         After Selecting the Color press “ALT + Backspace“(this will fill w/ background layer)to change the color of the Layer 2 refer to  the image 2.

      12.  This is The Final Result

13. to save the file as PNG

• File>Save as>under format click .png and click save...

How To Create Polaroid Collage Effect in Photoshop

in this tutorial i used  CS6 Photoshop.

1.  Open your image that you want to make a Polaroid Effects

• go to>File>Open> and browse the image.

2. Duplicate your image.

• Layer>Duplicate Layer or simply "CTRL + J"
• refer to the image below.

3. Create layer( place it between the two image) and  fill it to color Blue or any color that you want.

• to add layer go to> layer>new>layer or simply "CTRL + SHIFT + N"
• to add fill go to edit>fill or simply "SHIFT + F5"
• under use select color and pick a color and click ok. refer to the image below.

4. Add another Layer above the Layer 2.

• Layer>new>layer

5. Create a Marquee Tool 

• to create marquee tool click m or simply refer to the image.
  
• drag or create a rectangle shape, this would be the image in your Polaroid refer to the image.

6.   Fill with background color.

• under layer 3 click ALT + BACK SPACE this will fill with background color, it should be looks like this  in the image 3.

7. Create Clipping Mask, this time select the layer 1 and create it to a clipping mask.

• to create a Clipping Mask go to>Layer>Create Clipping Mask or Simply "Ctrl + Alt + G"
• after creating Clipping Mask, the image should like this.

8.  Add another layer to the top of  layer 2, this would be the frame of your Polaroid.

• Layer>New>Layer.
• Create another Marquee Tool and Fill it to color white, go to step 3 on how to add fill color.
• After Filling into a color while this would be the image

• Click CTRL + D to Deselect

9. Creating Drop Shadow to the Layer 4, this would add a frame shadow to your Polaroid.

• Adding Drop Shadow right click layer 4> Click Blending Option>check the drop shadow or Simply Click the FX icon and click the Drop Shadow you can also adjust the Shadow.
  

10. Group the 3 Layers (Layer1,Layer3,Layer4)

• grouping the 3 layers>hold the SHIFT while clicking the Layer1,Layer3 and Layer4 refer to the image and Click "Ctrl + G" to Group

11. Duplicate The Group1 and Add another Collage.

• To Duplicate the Group 1 Simply Click "Ctrl + J"
• Click the Group 1 to Unhide the layer

• Hold the Layer 3 and layer 4 in the "Group1 copy" and move the layer and place it into what ever you want refer to the image below..

12. Repeat the Step 11,it depends to you on how many duplicate that you made, you can also Rotate it by placing the mouse into the side of the image until the cursor mouse change into rotate cursor.

13 After Repeating the Step 11,This is The Final Result.

14. to save the file as PNG

• File>Save as>under format click .png and click save..
